Programming lead of newly formed Data Solutions team managing workloads for myself and 2-3 contractors providing ad-hoc programming solutions to three US departments. Assignments were to fill gaps in specialties that were outside of any one department and were often high profile, short notice multi-department projects with accelerated timelines involving programs or processes never used by the team before. Continued support for define XML process. Took over manual quality control checks for all US clinical trial reports and co-developed SAS macro for automating most of the quality checks. A global working group was formed around the macro, it was integrated into BI's programming environment, and became a required validation step for all projects. Co-TPROG on US trials. US key user and first level support for BI’s internal programming environment.

As a contractor working with Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) I collaborated with a BI programmer while developing a SAS macro that created XML files for reporting metadata to regulatory agencies such as the FDA from Visual Basic enhanced Excel files usable by anyone without programming experience. I worked on specifications, development, validation of my coworker’s portions, black and white box testing, and provided training and post launch support to BI’s programmers, statisticians, and data managers from 5 countries.
