I oversee the Inside Ottawa Directory, a pocket guide to Parliament. Published every winter with a summer update, Inside Ottawa contains handy information about MPs, Cabinet Ministers, Senators, parliamentary committees, and useful contacts for the Ottawa bubble.

I co-edit Parliament Now, a daily digital digest of all the news and action in the House of Commons, the Senate, and federal politics. Part of the Hill Times publishing group, Parliament Now offers detailed coverage of events, press releases, committee meetings, Question Period, and legislation for subscribers. I also edit the annual Inside Ottawa Directory, a pocket guide to Parliament.

As assistant editor for Hill Times's "Power & Influence" magazine, I worked with the editor and other assistant editor on planning content for the next issue, creating content, copyediting and writing headlines. P&I ceased publication in summer 2017.

I copyedited and wrote headlines for the blog posts for Advanced Symbolics, an Ottawa-based data think tank focused on the potential of social data as a business and cultural intelligence source.I copy edited the Hill Times & Embassy's spring 2014 issue of "Power & Influence" magazine.

As Managing Editor for New Edinburgh News, I was responsible for the call for submissions, deciding what content goes into the paper and where; copyediting and writing headlines; all while liaising with the senior writer, photographer, production manager, ad manager, bookkeeper, distribution team and the printers. Founded in 1976, NEN is published five times a year by the New Edinburgh Community Alliance. newedinburgh.ca

I interviewed artists and designers for Spade Magazine, writing feature-length articles, with accompanying images.

I ran the weekly news meeting for the Hill Times' weekly foreign policy newspaper, drafting the schedule for what would go into the next issue. I assigned news stories to writers, and wrote news stories myself (mainly profiles, cultural stories and book reviews). Each week I edited and proofread all the stories that went into each issue, writing headlines, finding accompanying art, and approving each page of the newspaper before it went to press. I worked with the publisher, writers and production team on a daily basis. I also attended press events and social functions on behalf of the newspaper. I was also in charge of maintaining our photo database, and keeping our list of diplomatic contacts up-to-date.

I interviewed and wrote articles profiling artists, photographers and designers over several issues, under the column headline "Beyond A Thousand Words."
