I'm a rising senior at Rutgers University New Brunswick majoring in Psychology with a minor in Education. At Rutgers, I'm currently a research assistant at the Social Perception Lab, where I am advancing my research skills and contributing to research studies in social psychology. Additionally, I work as a Teaching Assistant for Dr. Marina Gelfand's forensic psychology course, and I currently mentor two undergraduates through the Rutgers Psychological Alliance Mentorship Program. I was recently accepted into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, and I'm also an active member of the Psychological Alliance Club. I've completed leadership programs such as the First-Year Fellowship, LVL-Up, and Peer Leadership Mentor Programs, and I'm currently part of the 4WARD Career Pathways Program to excel my academic and career journey. I am passionate about youth mental health advocacy and I recently interned with Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, where I gained experience working with youth in the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Unit. Beyond academics, I've worked as a food server for over 4 years and seasonally as a substitute teacher. I’m constantly looking for new opportunities to strengthen my skills and expand my knowledge. Looking ahead, I aim to pursue a master's degree in Applied Psychology with Rutgers GSAPP and go on to become a licensed professional counselor (LPC).
