The day to day managing of all accounts & debt for the practice and clients.• Allocating BACS payments.• Dealing with large sums of money.• Chasing insurance companies, cash debtors, charity accounts and referral invoices with other practices. • Working alongside a debt collection agency to aid in the collection of debt for the business. • Working to ensure that the clinical team and other areas of the practice are informing clients of costs and preventing debt. • Offering physical and emotional assistance to clients in sensitive situations.• Completing the end of month process - till reconciliation, invoice & statement runs.• Processing insurance claims

Dealing with the day to day running of the veterinary practice. Welcoming arrivals, handling queries, booking appointments, dealing with cancellations as well as other general receptionist duties. Using strong written and verbal communication skills - built up through emailing, serving and advising customers face to face and over the phone.

Assiting the team with all aspects of being a vet nurse. This includes working in the kennels and consultant rooms, helping with pre- op preperation, helping monitor patients during surgery and spending time on the reception desk.
