Assisting General Cafe Manager in the Management and Operation of a fast paced cafe environment. Job duties include:- Managing and organising the smooth running of a coffee counter and front of house- Leading a team of up to 15 people- Training and up-skilling new members of staff and ensure processes are followed correctly- Greeting customers and explaining ordering system- Taking orders using an iPad ordering system- Preparation and serving of coffees and snacks- Processing orders and handling cash/refunds using a till operated system- End of night cashing up/banking of tills- Key holding responsibilities (locking up building at end of night)- Clearing tables and ensuring that customers feel safe in an environment that meets hygienic standards

Day-to-day operation and management of a fast paced coffee counter- Welcoming and interacting with customers- Preparing a wide variety of coffees, teas and drinks of the highest standard- Co-ordinating the preparation of all orders from the coffee counter, enabling waiting staff to serve freshly made food and beverages in a prompt manner- During quieter periods, covering all aspects of the coffee counter role, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, operating the till, waiting and clearing tables- Helping to develop a high quality barista team, providing them with supervision and necessary training- Maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment, following approved operating procedures, food safety guidelines, and health and safety regulations- Maintain supplies of coffee counter in line with forecast demand

Assisting within the family photography business carrying out a range of support activities including taking bookings, dealing with clients, social media marketing and promotions.Key Contributions:Pushing the business online in targeted marketing campaigns.Ensuring all details of bookings are taken, checked and confirmed.Dealing with difficult circumstances, when weddings are cancelled
