My main duty was to support the Brand and Communications and Student Recruitment teams through development and coordination of the communication plan for enquirers and applicants across Undergraduate, Pre Degree and Postgraduate study. I created content, organised and delivered scheduled, innovative and relevant campaigns to support and enhance the student journey via our CRM and other databases. I also work with the wider recruitment, marketing, events, campaigns and brand teams and academic staff to produce creative content marketing for email, web, print and more throughout the academic cycle. My other duties included: promoting recruitment events, e.g. Open Days, schools outreach programmes and UCAS fairs through excellent marketing materials and communications, pre and post-visit. Finally, I tracked the engagement and impact of communications in order to continually improve and optimise how and what was communicated to prospective students, and ensure that the content reflected the universities tone of voice and brand values, promoting the benefits of creative study.My ability to curate a year-long cycle of communication across all levels and offers led to my contract being extended twice. I also redesigned, organised and delivered crucial clearing and enrolment communications in the summer of 2022 leading to an increase in timely enrolment across all levels for Arts University Plymouth for all teams. I endeavoured to continue developing communications for the next generation of students by attending marketing conferences and communication workshops.

I worked within the marketing department producing copy, photography and artwork for campaigns, from bus stops to digital display ads. I ensured each campaign was launched effectively through multiple channels by liaising with suppliers. Whilst this is my main role, I also supported the marketing team in many ways including: copywriting, photography, photo and video edits, website implementation, developing brand guidelines and maintained the media and brand library. I also collaborated with various departments to produce infographics, posters, guides, brochures for both online use and print.

Utilising my production and filmmaking skills at Scarlett Entertainment to create literary and visual content for webpages and blog articles.

Teamed up with Yellow Mouse Studios to explore and develop hybrid animation, combining traditional animation techniques with digital animation. My responsibilities included: setting up, developing and completing client projects, commissions and freelance projects. I also took the lead in developing short films for national and international festival entries within the studio.

Interned at Hu &Hutchinson as an animator, producing educational and entertaining animation content for Katie's Wonderland website. Aimed at integrating international children into British culture.

Commissioned by the Learning Solutions Manager for Newsquest Media LTD to create animated gifs and image assets, via Photoshop and Aftereffects , which will be used for developing eLearning sales force.

Executed a pitch for Exeter Phoenix theatre, which required me to create a short hybrid animation test using painted and stop-motion animation techniques. This project required both written and verbal communication skills to create ideas and storyboards, as well as, flexibility to work on a prospective budget, materials list and production schedule.

Collaborated with the Barbican Theatre on a project aimed at encouraging secondary school students to go to University. My role included: devising, producing and compositing the animation sequences, working with actors and directors to create the interactive performance. This piece was then successfully performed in serval secondary schools with great results .

Following volunteering at the animation workshop for Tavistock School run by Plymouth College of Art. I was commissioned to create an educational cut-out animation, based on the mining history in Devon. This film was shown as part of a historical ceremony celebrating Devon’s mining history.
