    Governance Lead Assurance Auditor
    Diageo Jun 2018 - Aug 2019
I am focused and can deliver against deadlines. I can prioritise and reprioritise dependant on the business need. Through my secondment, I have built an exceptionally high level of understanding and knowledge of all GRMS & Protocols that I support the ISC and D&M Governance Compliance Agenda across Quality, H&S, Environment and Risk & Assurance. I hold Site Operations Managers to account on action completion and I am happy to provide guidance and support to close actions out. I am not afraid to have challenging conversations – I handle them professionally and always ensure my stakeholders understand the requirement of my ‘ask’. I take on board feedback and have gathered regular feedback during my recent secondment.During my secondment, these were the tasks I undertook:-- Conduct audit across 19 D&M sites (primarily East Group), as per the D&M Audit Schedule- Ensure sites are compliant with Diageo's GRMS - Monthly Reporting to track outstanding actions for each site (both non-SFIP & SFIP)- Updating the Audit Score Tracker after each audit to ensure it remains up-to-date- Contact sites to arrange audits, providing them with as much notice as possible- Typing up audits once complete & raising Observations & Actions, where necessary- Updating 'Amber Actions' document to track which sites are pushing out actions without comments/justification- Updating the Audit Action Tracker spreadsheet to visibly see & track how many actions sites have had raised at each audit- Attend Daily Operation Reviews and Weekly Operation ReviewsI attended and passed the SQMC Lead Auditor course before coming in to the role which I am extremely proud of. It gave me a foundation on which I could build my knowledge when I started in the role.

  • The Moray Council
    Clerical Assistant
The Moray Council Mar 2012 - Jul 2012
    Environmental Health
I worked at Environmental Health on a month-to-month basis to cover an employee who was on Long Term Sick after my contract at Trading Standards had came to an end. I had helped out as and when needed at Environmental Health previously whilst I was based at Trading Standards due to the fact that my post was quite quiet and I enjoy being kept busy.• Dealt with public enquiries regarding various issues (e.g. public complains, business enquiries, etc)• Audio typing EH Officers’ notes regarding business inspections carried out• Worked as part of a small administration teamKey Achievements• Improved communication skills greatly by handling upset/angry members of the public• Always completed work to the highest standard possible, paying great attention to detail
  • The Moray Council
    Clerical Assistant/Wpo
The Moray Council Nov 2010 - Mar 2012
    Trading Standards
I was the first point of contact in the Trading Standards office dealing with customers face-to-face, over the telephone and via email. I enjoyed the interaction with the public and meeting new people but it was very challenging at times. The Trading Standards office was shared with Money Advice and some clients who came in for appointments suffered with learning difficulties so communication had to be clear and precise at all times. Due to the fact that I was the only Clerical Assistant for Trading Standards, I was given a variety of documents to produce, as well as recorded investigation interviews for the Trading Standards Officers which were extremely confidential.During my time at Trading Standards, I was the Administrator for the Moray Council's Local Licensing Forum (LLF) which I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved that I got to use my creative side to create posters and leaflets for upcoming events! I took minutes at each meeting and formatted them in a Word document to make them presentable before distributing them out to all LLF members. I liked the responsibility of being the administrative support for the LLF as it definitely helped to improve my confidence by communicating with new people. Receiving praise for work well done is always great to hear!
