I started my employment at Mowgli Street food in Manchester, this is where I took on the role of a server. Due to the restaurant being part of a major branch, with many restaurants all over the country this meant that I had duty of care for the customers, as some would travel just to taste the food. With the restaurant’s owner constantly being on morning shows and tv chat shows, this meant that we would attract a large following. This helped me improve my efficiency at work and especially working under pressure. It allowed me to build more on my team working skills and most importantly my customer service skills. As employees we are the face of the branch, which means we owe the customers an amazing experience throughout. On top of being a server I was also given the opportunity to acquire some bar training skills, as well as host large parties.
