With over a decade of experience in the patent profession, I have handled a broad case load of chemistry, engineering and materials-related subject matter including:- medical devices: diagnostics instruments, surgical tools, wound closure & care, bone replacements, medical alloys and implantable materials;- industrial chemistry: oil and gas refining, polymer films and adhesives, 3D printing and batteries;- consumer products: contact lenses, adsorbent articles, skin care and laundry technology.A significant part of my practice is based on contentious inter-parties proceedings, defending and attacking patents in EPO opposition and appeal proceedings. I have also gained experience working on a number of UK litigation proceedings. I enjoy getting to know my clients and understanding their business so as to help them achieve their goals, be that obtaining robust protection for their inventions, defending their rights or knocking out competitor’s patents. I work alongside them to help manage their patent portfolios.
