Provide essential support to the ACE Prototyping and Manufacturing Workshop. Delivering engineering consultancy, design and production service to departmental users, including the instruction and teaching of prototyping and manufacturing techniques including hands-on teaching of workshop skills on manual machines to workshop users of all abilities

Provide technical support for the Dangoor Reach Out Makerspace. The Makerspace is for local young people aged 9-18 and contains a wide range of different equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters, woodworking machinery, electronics and crafting tools. The space is designed to help young people design, create and bring their ideas to life.

The Prince Philip Maritime Collection Centre is a new state of the art storage and conservation studio facility for Royal Museums Greenwich, incorporating the National Maritime Museum, Royal Observatory, Queens House and Cutty Sark. I was involved in the development of increasing public access to these 4 collections as well as maintaining safe storage conditions. This involves condition checking and preparing objects for exhibition, display and loan. Safely unpacking and re-packing objects, creating bespoke housing when necessary. Updating relevant catalogue records on the collections database system, Mimzy XG. Monitoring environmental conditions and following Integrated Pest Management procedures. Working together with the Learning Producer to plan and deliver learning and engagement activities for children, adults, local community groups, schools etc. Developing conservation taster programmes at special educational needs and secondary schools and colleges. Assisting behind the scenes tours. Supervising Conservation Volunteers during museum display light cleaning sessions. Keeping necessary documents updated and responding to relevant enquiries.

We aim to create a vibrant and passionate workforce with the skills and attributes that are relevant for the curation of heritage itself, as well as the people enjoying and shaping it.

Involved in all aspects of studio and product marketing. Including, scheduling content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Linkedin. Generating graphical, photographic and video content for social media, blog and websites. Creating and sending newsletters on Mailchimp. General WordPress website maintenance and design across 3 sites including updating content, processing and shipping website orders and handling any resulting customer queries. Creating, Sourcing and Coordinating new and existing creative workshops at our 3rd Rail Print Space open access facility. Generating bi-monthly blog content on a wide range of topics relevant to the business. Assisting with admin tasks including order processing, customer management and sales as well as general studio help at times like answering the phone. Researching artists and contacts in the creative industry and outreach for the Print Social brand.

Worked as studio assistant for streetwear brand DBNS. Involved in printing garments using DTG digital printing equipment as well as maintaining printers on a day to day basis. Packing and processing orders via Royal Mail and DPD. Editing fashion photos using Adobe software Photoshop. Uploading products to the website and online market platforms. Creating blog posts for the website and social media. Brainstorming caption ideas for new designs at weekly meetings. General studio upkeep and organisation. Stock checking deliveries and organising the back stock area. Assisting with answering customer email enquiries. Assisting on photoshoots.

Worked as a team to fabricate large format cameras in a wood workshop environment. UsingCAD/CAM as well as machine and traditional woodworking hand tools. Also participated in marketing and graphic design work, designing flyers for the Kickstarter campaign.

Involved in all aspects of the studio from assisting location shoots, preparing lighting to retouching images on Adobe Photoshop. Packaging online orders for delivery, assisting with pr, admin, data entry and archiving, researching projects, updating social media, dealing with customers both face to face, over the phone and email.

Metal Workshop Assistant - Helping with the fabrication of a wide variety of bicycle frames, mostly steel or titanium using metal work techniques such as brazing, welding and casting. Working from drawings, cutting angles to size and specification.
