Discovered that spin properties can decrease energy barriers of reactions by up to 55%.Characterizing nanostructures with atomic force microscopy and photo-induced force microscopy as part of large, interdisciplinary UCI MRSEC research collaboration to illuminate local chemical and physical structure simultaneously. Modeling IR and Raman spectroscopy of small molecules with novel approach to decompose spectra along Cartesian spatial coordinates by augmenting Python code with VASP.
