I have been a freelance personal assistant for about a year and a half. My duties have included taking phone calls, answering emails, scheduling appointments and meetings, booking travel arrangements, handling billing and expenses if needed, researching and note-taking, and keeping the calendar and documents updated.

I am the owner and creator of the Depop shop, dwenday. My mission is to repurpose and re-home clothing, jewelry, shoes, books, decor, etc. I am responsible for advertising, networking, collaborating, and creating a positive experience for any customer I get to work with. I have learned social media management, effective outreach skills, and how to fulfill customers' needs.

I have a passion for all things creative, and I use photography as a way to exercise this passion. Photography has allowed me to work with different types of people, tailor a product to each individuals' specific needs, and create meaningful relationships with my clients. This job has helped me to empathetically understand others' needs, learn good customer service skills, and how to properly create a schedule that is efficient and satisfactory for everyone involved.

I have been a babysitter for multiple families, requiring various needs. I have been given the opportunity to care for children as young as 6-months to kids that were five years old. In these roles, I had to be quick-thinking, dependable, organized, and trustworthy. I have also been a lead role in my local church's daycare. I was in charge of teaching short lessons during the adult service, providing snacks, creating lessons and crafts, and assisting the children with any problems that surfaced during the time being.

I was the Zone Leader for PreK and Kindergarten Students. I had to plan and create activities for the students and effectively balance productivity and work while also keeping the children engaged. I also taught Technology and Stems to all grade levels which taught me how to communicate clearly. I had to be a strong leader that could be decisive, intentional, patient, and adaptable. In my last couple of months there, I helped out as the receptionist. I was responsible for answering parent phone calls, letting zone leaders know when a child's parent had arrived to pick them up, and keeping the children's files up to date.

I checked customers out, bagged groceries, and collected carts. If problems arose, with my co-workers or the customers, I was in charge of problem-solving efficiently. I had to be detail-oriented, fast-paced, and create a positive and personal experience with each customer.
