I have an interest in conserving and protecting the environment and have a drive to be a part of this evolving discipline. As a graduate in Environmental Science, i have scientific knowledge and practical skills in land, water, and flora and fauna conservation. I have undertaken studies in diverse environments, including significant wetlands and estuaries, forests, coastal and inland National Parks, and developing urban and rural landscapes. As part of my studies, I undertook a research project with National Parks and Wildlife Services in 2016, where i worked closely with Park Rangers to produce a report, which involved reviewing the Little Tern (Sternula albifrons sinensis) management in the New South Wales Coffs Coast Region. You can find this report in the Lismore SCU Library.Leading on from an internship with the Environment Protection Authority in 2015, my recent experience as an Environmental Officer with the EPA has enabled industry experience in environmental monitoring, regulation and protection, working closely with industry professionals on the largest infrastructure road project in NSW.
