I am an associate member of the Chartered Governance Institute with over 15 years experience in the fiduciary industry. Having started my career at IQ-EQ (Guernsey) Limited in 2006, I progressed from Trainee Officer to Senior Administrator, through internal promotions and dedication to the completion of professional qualifications to include Certificate in Financial Administration, ICSA Diploma in Offshore Administration. In 2013, I took a career break to travel and work in Australia. I had the opportunity to work for a not-for-profit organisation in Sydney and completed 3 months agricultural work in Queensland required to be eligible for a 2nd year working visa ito allow me to stay in Australia for a further year.When I returned to the Island I rejoined IQ-EQ (Guernsey) Limited as Assistant Trust Manager. I completed ICSA Chartered Governance qualifying scheme and have recently been promoted to Senior Manager. I continue to attend seminars and training to ensure I keep up to date with regulatory and fiscal changes to ensure that client structures remain relevant.I am accountable for the efficient strategy, leading and motivating a team of five for the provision of trust services to high-net-worth clients both direct and via Relationship Mangers throughout the Middle East. In addition I am the main contact for the client support services including the accounting, compliance and business development functions. I have experience working with range of complex Trust and Company structures registered in various jurisdictions with a focus on property holding companies. Over the past 5 years’, following changes to the UK tax regime, I have working closely with tax and legal advisors to assist with restructure and/or winding up of corporate structures ensuring adherence to corporate governance practices and local regulations.
