Produced multi-national commercial spots for Columbia Sportswear featuring the U.S., Russian and Canadian Olympic freestyle ski teams, with locations in all three countries.

Assisted Sockeye’s in-house video production team in content creation for clients including adidas, pFriem and Tuality Healthcare, tackling everything from budgets and event planning to fog machines and wardrobe, earning distinction for spreadsheet ingenuity and abiding good humor.

A few college friends started a magazine about the great outdoors. I went through Issue No. 1 and circled all of the typos, then handed it back to the Editor in Chief. That sparked two years of collaboration, creativity, and adventure, as we cobbled together what would become a visually stunning and spunky representation of our world, our people, and our stories.

We are the Oregon Cultural Trust's first official Tour Team! Myself and my producing partner climbed into a camper van and embarked on a 40-day journey to canvas all 98,000 square miles of Oregon. Shooting by day and editing by night, we produced comprehensive media packages for 36 different cultural events throughout the state—including TV spots, photo essays and interviews—for the Cultural Trust's 2016-2017 campaign. We would like to thank the many, many Oregonians who helped us, laughed with us and posed for us along the way. You make this state feel like home.

In typical intern fashion, I wrote a lot of obituaries, copyedited endless iterations of spreads, learned how to get around our website's HTML code and tried to distract everyone in the office with ceaseless humor. Lucky for me, my supervisors put up with all of it and gave me every opportunity to test new skills on a variety of projects.

Travel Oregon asked us to generate content for their site, so instead we offered to build them a campaign targeting the young generation of adventurers flooding the Northwest—perhaps biting off more than we could chew. This was a learning experience.

Created a yearlong national campaign for Snapple and competed against six other schools in the 2016 NSAC competition. 200 sleepless nights, 100 manifestos and 24 friendships later—we lost. It was worth every excruciating moment.

Helped write and produce a short annual documentary for OPB featuring characters of the Pacific Northwest, including Pa Butt and his pot-eating deer, a taxidermy artist, and Governor Kate Brown. Our piece on self-declared "bug guy" Christopher Marley, earned us a National Mark of Excellence from the Society of Professional Journalists.

For three years, I partnered with a university professor to lead a cohort of 25 freshmen every fall term. Our course explored the intersection of comedy and media, although our sneaky goal was actually to create lasting friendships among new students. I taught my students to laugh at themselves and respect each other; they taught me how to be a leader and a mentor.

The theme of our issue: Grit. In small teams of writers, designers, videographers and photographers we traveled throughout the state to produce stories about rodeo queens, coast guard rescue swimmers and a raucous troupe of elderly female fly fishers. Then we compiled our multi-media content into an award-winning iPad magazine.

A small group of students in the UO's Journalism school helped a non-profit horse rescue develop its brand from the ground up. This included a new logo, tagline, website and promotional materials.

As an account executive I was responsible for working with my team members to find an effective strategy that would raise awareness within Lane County about possible large-scale flooding in the near future and teach residents how to best prepare for a dangerous scenario. My team worked with the Lane County Sheriff's Office to create a social media plan that would increase their accessibility and speed up communications with the public. We developed a plan for both Facebook and Twitter that targeted long-term residents of Eugene with up-to-date news coverage and material relevant to emergency preparedness.

I was responsible for culling news coverage of University of Oregon and posting those articles to UONews and (previously) AroundtheO. I also compiled a weekly report that highlighted the most important or outstanding articles in the news, which was sent out in an email to staff and faculty. If something had gained significant media attention I would write short articles for AroundtheO detailing that coverage.

As a member of Ethos' Ad Team I was responsible for recruiting clients around Eugene that were interested in advertising with Ethos Magazine, either in print or online.
