I am an undergraduate student at Auburn University and I’m currently a Senior studying Supply Chain Management with a minor in international business. As my classes become more and more specific to my major it is easy finding myself even more excited about entering this field. In the future I hope to build a strong career in supply chain with the use of my communication, organization, and leadership skills. Just one of my many goals is to eventually obtain an MBA with a concentration in supply chain to further my education. I enjoy working in an environment where all ideas are welcome and where co-workers help each other succeed. This became clear to me while working with Georgia Pacific on the procurement and sourcing chemical buying team as well as the inventory and transactions team in CPG. These roles helped to broaden my communication and leadership skills.A few of my strengths that tend to stand out in a work environment include my ability to focus and carry out self-discipline. When a project is assigned I am able to put myself to work, and ask questions when needed. While I may be independent at times, group work is something that I strive in. Having people to give feed back and to share ideas with makes all the difference and is something that I look for in the work place.I look forward to expanding my experience and knowledge in the years to come!
