I am passionate about investigating the intersection between environment and health. I teach weekly first year-biology PASS classes at Monash University ranging from cell function, immunology and plant and wildlife ecology. As a Senior PASS Leader I design and facilitate professional development workshops training new PASS leaders across university faculties. I have experience working as an immunology medical research intern in Inflammation Vince lab and science communication team at Walter Eliza Institute of Medical Research (WEHI). I currently work as a Research Field Ecologist for Earth Care monitoring Little Penguin populations at St Kilda Breakwater. I also wrote a children’s picture book about endangered Emu Wrens published by Zoos Victoria. I aspire to communicate science in a way that is accessible to everyone.
