Digitally Informed Youth (DIY) Digital Safety is a five-year research project that aims to empower young people and provide them with tailored resources so they can have safe and enjoyable interactions online and offline. This project prioritizes the voices of diverse youth, including Indigenous youth and those across the spectrums of gender and sexuality, and partners with young people and youth-focused organizations from across Canada to ensure the resources developed are equitable, evidence-informed, and youth centred.

Create and facilitate presentations, public education material and guides on how to respond to sexual violence from an anti-racist and anti-oppressive lens. Research best-practices, methodologies and scholarship on how sexual assault centres can be support racialized clients for internal and external resource-sharing.

Provide case management and frontline support to survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking in the Halton region. I work with clients to develop long-term planning and access to housing in addition to crisis intervention and counselling services. Additionally, I collaborate with community organizations and groups to facilitate anti-human trafficking and sexual violence prevention training.

As Senator, I sit on the highest governing body of the University tasked with general control and supervision over academic matters. It is composed of 111 voting members broadly representative of the University’s constituencies (faculty, staff, students, administrators, Governors and alumni). The committees that I presently sit on in addition to Senate Caucus include: - Subcommittee on Women - Enrolment and Student Affairs Advisory Committee- McGill Athletics and Recreation Advisory Board

As an Anti-Violence Coordinator I am responsible for overseeing sexual violence prevention on campus and within the student union. Through the four pillars of prevention, advocacy, support and response I work to ensure the safety of students. This includes facilitating workshops on sexual violence prevention to the 230+ student group and researching and proposing legislative changes to the union. I communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders on campus and advocate on behalf of the 25,000 students in the student union. This position requires that I stay informed on Quebec and Federal labour and family laws.

As Advocacy Coordinator, I create initiatives, programming and events to improve the conditions and well-being of students on campus. Additionally, I also advocate on an institutional level through McGill's Students' Society's Equity Committee and the Committee on Racialized and Ethnic Persons to create policy changes to promote and centre the experiences of black students.

As a Floor Fellows, I live in first-year residence and act as an all-around support resource for students. I work to ensure that residents have a smooth academic and social transition into the McGill community. I am extensively trained to deal with a variety of issues facing students about life on campus and in Montreal. The biggest part of my role is community-building through developing and maintain relationships with the students on my floor through events and outings. .

Summer Leadership Program; MP Sven Spengemann Mississauga-Lakeshore

Elected as VP Academic, I am responsible for all educational, curricular, and academic affairs of the AUS. I act as a liaison between the AUS, the Faculty of Arts administration and other McGill units providingacademic services to the AUS members. A great part of my role is advocating for student academic needs and concerns in a manner consistent with the policies set by Council and the General Assembly. I resolve academic complaints brought forth my students against professors. As VP Academic I chair the:- McLennan Library Improvement Committee- Arts Internship Office Advisory Committee - Valedictorian Selection Committee - Academic Affairs Committee - Departmental VP Academic Roundtable - Arts Student Employment Fund Additionally, I oversee a team of five commissioners that work under my portfolio.

As Equity Commissioner I worked towards promoting and enhancing equity within the Faculty of Arts. I was responsible for chairing the AUS equity committee which serves to promote equity through campaigns, policy drafting and events. I was responsible for investigating equity complaints and disclosures as well as mediating conflicts. In this role, I facilitated equity and consent trainings to all 200+ departmental executives. My advocacy skills were greatly improved as I created policies and motions to be presented at legislative council, that work to combatting oppression and create a safe(r) space on campus.

Chosen to represent the federal riding of Milton to represent their community and vision for Canada. I attended the week long national conference of "Daughters of the Vote" in Ottawa to take my MP’s seat in Parliament during a historic sitting of the House of Commons in April 2019. I partook in professional development workshop aimed at becoming familiar with Canada’s political institutions to become better equipped to participate in the formal political sphere and take action in my local community.

In this position I created and developed anti-oppression and inclusion workshops for summer staff. I helped to reconstructed the summer program to meet Girls Inc Diversity Goals. Additionally, I served as a consultative body for staffed and gathered resources for summer staff to improve their programming.

I served as an Intern for the Peel Committee Against Women Abuse, a committee jointly run by Interim Place. I sustained the social media portfolio through Facebook, Twitter and blogging, an integral part of my role consisted of researching issues related to violence against women advocacy with respect to issues of interest to PCAWA. I was responsible for tracking current government affairs and new stories on women’s issues. In addition, I also assisted in editing press releases and position pieces to send to government officials. I provided administrative support to advocacy initiatives such as helping to editing and format the Peel region’s policy on sexual violence prevention to taking minutes at stakeholder meetings. Through this position I was able to apply my extensive knowledge of equity, sexual violence prevention and intersectionality to provide accurate information and support women. As an Intern, I helped to develop a social media editorial work for the organization across all social media platforms while maintaining the shelter’s and committee’s feminist, anti- racist and oppressive mandate.

My year as VP Education for the MASS required that I generate discussions and awareness around contemporary African issues through events, online and in person. I was responsible for maintain the social media pages with news, images and videos relating to the continent.

Worked one on one with special needs camper to ensure inclusion into the camp setting.

I represented the 2.2 million students across the province alongside working with different stakeholders in the provincial government to address the concerns of Ontario students. My main objective was aimed at improving the quality of education of rural and Indigenous students

Elected to represent all 38,000 students in HCDSB at the School Board level. I attended all regular Board Meetings, sitting at the board table and using my non-binding vote to advocate on behalf of students. I served as an essential connection between students, Trustees, senior administration and stakeholders of the board.

I represented all students in Milton region at Board Meetings. Through a non-binding vote I was able to advocate and voice student needs and concerns. I created the first ever board wide Black History Month Celebration and co-chaired the Student Senate.
