I am a current sophomore at Virginia Commonwealth University under the College of Life Sciences, pursuing a degree in the Environmental Studies Program. I am striving to turn my passion for conservationism and ecology into a lifelong career that will create positive change for my community. I have three years of experience in the restaurant industry, which has given me a wide array of skills such as clear and concise communication, customer service, multi-tasking, diligent notetaking, proficiency in all Microsoft office programs, telecommunication skills on multi-line telephone systems, and creating connections. I also have two years of experience working as a receptionist for Pincus Goodman, P.C. which is a family law firm in the Virginia Beach area. This job gave me experience in the policy process, as well as familiarity with the judicial system, and experience in managing finances on a short-term basis. This career also gave me the skillset needed to keep records in an organized, private, and efficient manner.
