Chloe Chung, Ph.D. is a biomedical engineer, entrepreneur, and inventor. She has worked for 7 years in biomedical research (clinical and bench-top) and 3+ years in the medical device industry. Chloe's research expertise is in the advanced biomechanical evaluation of joint motion, surgical implants, and non-surgical medical devices. Chloe has collaborated with fellow scientists, clinicians, and practitioners to create new medical device technology for skeletal deformities and degenerative joint diseases of the spine, foot, and ankle. She co-founded the start-up company “EMBrace Design” to transition this novel orthopedic technology out of the laboratory and into the market. For her early graduate research on studying and modeling the skeletal deformity Scoliosis and bracing technology, she received the "Outstanding Master Thesis" Award given by the Tennessee Conference of Graduate Schools.
