As my Senior Year Internship in high school, I gained hands-on experience in an office environment consulting with colleagues daily to ensure our efforts were aligned with company goals. As an intern in the Marketing department of an electronics company, I was responsible for fulfilling business literature mailing orders and updating the product photo and client databases as well as the company website. And while this role was a small one, I felt as though I was able to play a valuable part in the ambitions of the company and contribute to the collaborative, efficient environment of professionals.
