During my time at Milton Stateline Adventist School (MSAS) I taught science and social studies for grades five and six as well as facilitated the special education program. I developed, taught and tested interdisciplinary units using a variety of specialized instruction methods. As part of my role in the special education program I created lesson plans that were adjusted to students' IEP requirements and recorded their progress with their IEP plan throughout the school year.

As a teachers aide at Rogers Adventist School (RAS) I have had the privilege to work along side the kindergarten teacher and learn valuable skills. I have assisted the teacher in creating lesson plans based off Gardener's Theory of Multiple Intelligence. I have also lead classroom activities and assisted students with work during class time. My daily tasks involve assisting the teacher with preparation of daily lesson materials, and managing students in the classroom.

I completed my student teaching under Mrs. Carole Schafer at Rogers Adventist School during my senior year of college. As part of my responsibilities as a teacher I co-taught all subjects for kindergarten. I also developed, taught and tested interdisciplinary units on all core subjects and a variety of specialized subjects.

As part of my duties at Gospel Heritage Foundation I have worked consistently with Microsoft suite products such as word, excel, and publisher. I use these skills to format newsletters, announcements, tables, and various other media. In 2016 I assisted with the Heritage Singers 45th Reunion Concert in Ontario, California. Currently I work remotely part time formatting newsletters and assisting with various other tasks.

I served as the assistant librarian at Rogers Adventist School (RAS) during my freshman to junior year of college. During my time as the assistant librarian I assisted the librarian with education classes. One of my main tasks was to help keep the library organized as well as shelving various materials and books. Naturally I was able to explore various topics and themes in children's literature as I helped teachers select materials to use for their classes. I was also able to master the Dewey decimal system as that was the system that was set up in the library.

During my time as a high school student I worked as a teachers aid to help pay for my tuition. Tasks ranged from janitorial to office assistant. I would often grade papers, prepare materials, or organize classroom materials.
