Spent five months working as Marketing Coordinator Qld, managing the marketing requirements of 20 property developments around the Brisbane and Gold Coast region prior to leaving in August to pursue more travel.

Planned two international conferences (350 + attendees), a retreat for 25 delegates to Hong Kong, in addition to a number of smaller events such as tradeshows, product launches, webinars and training days. Managed the marketing requirements of 350 finance brokers and 100 financial planners and managed the rebrand of 25 businesses to Astute branded franchisee offices. Rebranded the Astute corporate business from a wholesale aggregator to a retail franchisee with over 30 retail office locations.

Was responsible for managing client portfolios, producing marketing material and print and online content across a diverse range of industries.

Worked part time throughout my degree as wait staff and functions assistant, planning small and large-scale events including birthdays, weddings, hens’ nights, bucks’ parties and two consecutive Caxton Street Seafood Festivals.

I worked as wait staff at the Brisbane Gallery of Modern Art’s GOMA Restaurant for 3 months prior to the Queensland floods.

Sales and customer service

During a gap year I worked casually at two fine dining restaurants in the Blue Mountains.

During high school I worked breakfast and dinner shifts at a local Motor Inn casually over 3 years where I gained experience as guest services, room attendant, wait staff and chefs assistant.
