Within 3DW I use a range of software, in particular Topaz 3D to create realistic visualisations of Nuclear Power Stations, Wind Farms and Power Lines international. We create visualisations so our clients can take them to consultations of proposals for new plans or developments.I start by collecting data from a client, such as aerial imagery, site boundaries and also the plans for the build/ development on the project. This involves using Photoshop to create textures to map onto the terrain, buildings, roads etc. I need to add more detail to to create a visually pleasing model.When a model is structurally complete I can then use Adobe After Effects to create a video fly through representation of the model. This allows customers to visit our website and view how the developments will look and how they will affect themselves.
