At the beginning of 2018, I was given a promotion to supervisor level and that was an amazing opportunity and experience to have. This involved opening the shop, running the shop floor, cashing up, filling in and filing away paperwork, leading and motivating a team and also visual merchandising. After a short period of time, my Manager left for a new position leaving me and another Supervisor to split the manager role as deputy managers.

I started off my job within New Look as a weekend employee. I had always been interested in fashion, so this job really appealed to me, and I was delighted when I was offered a place. It allowed me to express myself and become more confident within a retail-based job and I have learnt many valuable skills. I can safely deal with customer conflicts and have become confident running the shop floor on my own.
