Since starting my position as a physical therapy aide intern, I have learned the ins and outs of the clinic and its' protocols. I have effectively taught and demonstrated rehabilitation exercises to patients as well as corrected their form to ensure their safety. I have also learned how to use a variety of equipment and how to effectively ice and heat patients various injuries. Lastly, I have improved upon my detail oriented skills, ensuring patients are following their exercise charts, making sure patients get started on time, and helping to keep the clinic looking presentable.
