My name is Chloe. I am currently an animal husbandry commissary technician at Georgia Aquarium. I prepare diets for a vast number of species within the establishment, culture a variety of insects and invertebrates, and communicate interdepartmentally in order to provide the best communication and care possible for our teams and animals.I recently had the experience of joining a multi-institutional team, surveying, tagging, and sampling of manatees off the coast of Savannah, Georgia. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BS in Biology, specializing in general ecology and ichthyology. I worked under Dr. Gibson in the Biology Department studying hymenopteran diversity. I also worked under Dr. Bedore doing husbandry for various elasmobranch species.I would like to gain experience in the many factions of biological studies and human interaction. I am both an aspiring educator and activist and would be happiest in a job that allows me to make a positive difference.
