NYU Chemistry Department under Professor Nate Traaseth.Utilized multiple biochemical and biophysical techniques to study the activity of a multidrug efflux transporter found in the membranes of bacteria.Successfully applied for and received two NYU-sponsored grants and an external fellowship from the Société de Chimie Industrielle. Received the Edward J. McNelis Thesis Prize in Chemistry for my senior honors thesis titled "Investigating the Binding Activity and pH Dependence of the Multidrug Efflux Transporter EmrE."

Performed patient advocacy tasks; collected and analyzed data for a project evaluating patient outcomes for those admitted to the ER in various stages of sepsis.
