Hello and welcome to my LinkedIn! I am currently a full time Science teacher at a secondary school based in West Yorkshire. I fell into teaching through the apprenticeship scheme where learning on the job was essential. I pick up new strategies, protocols and technologies quickly and have exceptional adaptability. I have designed curriculum plans for secondary students focusing primarily on engagement and innovative ways to develop science oracy. Education: Biomedical Science, First class honours.Winner of the Don Whitley Scientific Award 2021 for academic success in microbiology.I have also gained experience as a cover supervisor, Behaviour Support officer and Teaching assistant. Aspirations: I want to teach and spread the enjoyment and love of science to others. In the future I would love to have a creative, remote role.
