Current• Conduct initial client interview which involves gathering information pertaining to the facts of the incident, types of injuriessustained, medical treatment, and insurance information once the intake department assigns the case to a local attorney• Obtain copies of accident reports from ALEA and put defendant’s and plaintiff’s insurance companies on notice by sending lettersof representation to confirm and determine bodily injury and uninsured motorist coverages• Coordinate… Show more • Conduct initial client interview which involves gathering information pertaining to the facts of the incident, types of injuriessustained, medical treatment, and insurance information once the intake department assigns the case to a local attorney• Obtain copies of accident reports from ALEA and put defendant’s and plaintiff’s insurance companies on notice by sending lettersof representation to confirm and determine bodily injury and uninsured motorist coverages• Coordinate appropriate treatment plan for clients based on type and severity of injuries and health insurance coverage• Stay in consistent contact with/serve as the client’s main point of contact client regarding their treatment status and medicalprovider regarding records or bills needed to be able to evaluate a case’s substantiation internally based on company metrics• Inform insurance adjusters of client’s treatment status and extent of their injuries so they can properly evaluate the claim• Collaborate directly with attorneys in writing demands to be sent to insurance adjusters inclusive of a letter detailing the accident,legal liability, pain and suffering, medical treatment, medical bills, and the amount being requested for damages• Negotiate injury settlement offers with insurance companies to ensure a positive outcome for the firm and client• Manage 100+ case files in different stages from case opening to settlement• Member of the catastrophic and high value team Show less
