Two summers ago I started my own business through the student entrepreneur program. I am responsible for selling, marketing, and merchandising jewelry and accessories. I manage both customer relationships and the supply chain. Recently, I exceeded 13,000 in sales.

I coordinated the revision of a 40 page accounting manual, created an infrastructure manual to include information on computer, alarm, and telephone systems. In addition, I re-organized company personnel files to comply with HIPAA and Department of Labor guidelines, and assisted with business checking account reconciliation.

I was chosen among my sophomore class to participate in the Bucknell University externship program. This experience gave me the opportunity to shadow employees in the Sales and Marketing departments at Maybelline New York.
