As a Cover Supervisor I am responsible for the supervision, behaviour management and learning of whole classes of students in the absence of the subject teacher. I am required to supervise the completion of set work, supervise classroom activities, maintain discipline and implement behaviour management controls in accordance with school policy, collect completed work at the end of each lesson, produce reports on performance, behaviour and attainment, and monitor student progress.

As President of Music Theatre Society my role involved managing a committee of 7, leading committee meetings, and supervising the running of five shows per academic year, as well as fundraisers and public performances. I liased with the Union, and was required to have good working knowledge of the cash office, health and safety regulations, and the general running of the Union. I also represented the society at assemblies with Union officials or other societies. Alongside this role I took on the role of vocal coach/musical director in three of the five shows.

This role entailed working with the Careers Centre to ascertain what recent graduates were doing in terms of employment in order to update the University's records and provide valuable information for current students. I was required to work efficiently to daily targets, and through this role I greatly developed my communication and database skills.
