Alongside my role at HM Prison & Probation Service, I also work voluntarily as Co-op Academy Walkden's Governor. Supporting and directing their current and future initiatives and objectives to help the school and students succeed.

Prison Employment Lead at HMP Risley. Helping to reduce reoffending via employment in Greater Manchester, Merseyside & Cheshire.As part of the Management Team within the prison, I support and influence a positive culture shift towards encouraging more work ready prison leavers gain employment on release.Continuously working with New Futures Network to embed our well established Employment Hub across HMP Risley, where our HMPPS partners provide a quality service to all prison leavers who’re engaged and looking for that chance to start a career in the community.

During my time at Bolton College, I was the Employer Engagement Advisor for the STEM Apprenticeship department. Account managing clients in the North West to understand and effectively spend their levy, and recruit Apprentices to develop their workforce.

Whilst at Wigan & Leigh College, I managed the talent pool of potential apprenticeship candidates from our current student base. Covering all 3 sites, I was the advisor for all students in our curriculum, supporting helping them gain employment via an apprenticeship.

After qualifying, I became the Apprenticeship Co-Ordinator at Salford City College. I managed Apprenticeship recruitment for the Construction Sector and our talent pool. Working with the Business Account Executives to maintain employer and stakeholder relationships, we recruited candidates into best fit apprenticeships.

Whilst completing my Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, I was employed at Salford City College as their Apprenticeship Recruitment Administrator.

I started my career as the Marketing & Admissions Apprentice for the Marketing department at Salford City College. Based across Head Office and the 5 College sites, I supported our Marketing Department with the development of (not limited to) our course guides, other literature and events - on and off site.
