Commenced my role as an input clerk for the FX Options desk in London responsible for Vanilla, Emerging and Exotic Option pricing, trade input, verification, STP and manual confirmation of trade details and trade bookings with our clients.- Became global head of London, New York and Asia FX Options middle office desks and remain professional and respected whilst remaining likeable and approachable within this role.- I have regular meetings with all centres and our Business Technology Manager regarding any issues they may have, enhancements for pricing and platform functionality, whilst always striving for improvement.- I am responsible for front office desk organisation and diary adopting supervisory role in this and I remain on call for any issues that may arise outside of London hours.- I regularly liaise with our Business Technology Manager on platform function and design, therefore always maintaining excellent and up to date user knowledge.- Working alongside a Business Analyst I designed and wrote a new global in-house pricing system for FX Options, which I then launched in New York and Singapore whilst providing in depth training to middle office staff. Implementation of the system has contributed and greatly improved the input workflow. I remain responsible for design functionality, user knowledge and push for enhancements to improve workflow further and reduce operational risk.- I have trained staff in the product and middle office role in London, New York and Asia.- Responsible for any STP failure, trade amendments, discrepancies and communication with clients in respect of these both written and verbal.- Responsible for initiating all new client onboarding.- Maintain good knowledge of pricing and electronic platforms both old and new.- I have excellent knowledge and use of FX Trader, Reuters Eikon and Eikon Messenger, Bloomberg, Bloomberg IBD, DealHub STP, MarkitServ STP, Reuters (RTNS) STP, Fenics Pricing.
