Regional Operations Manager
Current• Provide comprehensive guidance on the operational management of branches and transport functions, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, logistical demands, and property management standards to drive operational excellence.• Champion a culture of safety by personally committing to safe working practices, actively engaging in near-miss reporting, and addressing unsafe conditions while assisting branches in maintaining compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies.• Collaborate with service providers to optimise service levels, ensuring that service agreements are met and aligned with business objectives.• Monitor performance metrics by reviewing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and compliance reports, implementing improvement plans as necessary to address underperformance while enhancing operational efficiency, maximising profitability, and ensuring excellent customer service.• Oversee resource planning and demand forecasting for all branches within the region, fostering collaboration and enhancing inter-team relationships to ensure effective resource sharing and best practice implementation.• Actively contribute to the development of a robust brand transport strategy, guiding operational direction and strategies for transport efficiency.• Liaise effectively with sales teams to identify opportunities for retaining and expanding sales efficiently, ensuring alignment between operational and sales strategies.• Support Branch Operations Managers (BOMs) and Senior Operations Managers (SOMs) by providing coverage during absences, addressing personnel management queries, and resolving Employee Relations (ER) issues, thus promoting enhanced collaboration and coordination.
