Included; Marketing, managing client relationships, seeking new and managing existing promotional opportunities, new business acquisition, HR, overall management of 5 stores and head of retail expansion.My position at UGG Since 1974 gave me a firm understanding of management and the ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team. It was my duty to ensure all 5 stores were running efficiently, requiring extensive organisation and time management skills. I liaised directly with the Directors of the company on a daily basis, implementing their direction and objectives into every stride.Throughout this time I was head of expansion and new business acquisition, driving the growth of the company alongside the Managing Director. A large part of my role was spent meeting with new clients to discuss and increase wholesale volumes as well as securing promotional opportunities.My role also entailed managing all marketing for the company, responsible for the creative content and final execution of seasonal adverts and campaigns, as well as managing our social media channels with relevant and engaging content, managing the monthly newsletter and writing all advertorial content. During this time I also worked very closely with PR agencies to ensure all opportunities were met with the right material and that no advantageous openings were missed.I was able to progress through the company at a rapid rate and was fortunate enough to manage various aspects of the business, working directly with the Managing Director to propel the company forward. At the conclusion of my time with UGG, we had grown from 1 to 5 profitable stores across Australia, with several co-branding opportunities achieved, including International brands - Swarovski, Hello Kitty, Bondi Bather and more. I left UGG Since 1974 to travel the world before moving to London, where I currently reside.
