I am a Registered Paramedic and Registered Nurse. I have a profound passion and willingness to care and provide care for those who are in need. I endeavour to try and utilise my critical thinking skills to provide holistic, person centred care.I am highly passionate about my role and the diverse career options that I am exposed to. I have acquired an interest in rural and remote health care, along with low acuity work, youth mental health and emergency care; as I believe my skills and knowledge would be well utilised within these fields. I enjoy working in team environments where I am able to take in different perspectives of the needs and care needs for an individual. I have found I work well within a multidisciplinary team environment and in challenging situations along with working well interdependently when necessary.I embrace both my weaknesses and strengths within the field of health care and take on all constructive criticism as it allows me to build upon my character. By knowing both my strengths and weaknesses it allows me to contribute more effectively within a multidisciplinary team and gives me the opportunity for continues improvement in all areas. To compliment my enthusiastic work ethic and willingness to succeed, over the years I have developed excellent communication skills in a variety of different job fields. These consist of, child care working, real estate assistant, food and beverage assistant and working within a team environment that has allowed me to gain customer service skills along with conflict resolving skills. This allows me the ability to put the patients needs first as I have learnt skills and techniques on how to over come communication barriers and hierarchical situations. I am always up for a challenge and strive for continuous learning and education.
