• Gathered two species of Piper plant and caterpillar samples, and assisted in lab research for Andrea Glassmire at La Selva Biological Center.• Collected and recorded tree growth data on 1,080 trees in a reforestation project at La Finca de los Nacientes for Alex Gilman.• Collected data on sea turtle nesting at the Sea Turtle Conservancy, including body size measurements and egg counts.• Identified bird individuals to create a baseline dataset of bird species in the Children’s Eternal Rainforest in order to track species population growth and migration through the area.
