Words have the ability to convey emotions, thoughts and experiences in a truly unique and beautiful way.Throughout my time at UNC, I had the opportunity to interview Drew Starkey and Rudy Pankow, stars of Netflix's 'Outer Banks.' I studied abroad, where I interned with 'Cent' and attended both London Fashion Week and my first press event for Daria Martin's 'Tonight the World.' I was also able to work with BuzzFeed before becoming Brit + Co's full-time editorial assistant.You can always find me listening to Taylor Swift or talking about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. My greatest passion is telling stories that leave readers feeling like they have something to offer the world.

My first piece, an in-depth look on the mental health effects of the pandemic, was the site's most-read piece for the first-half of 2020. -

As Coulture moves into a new age, they have adopted the mantra "Cut the Fluff" to encourage other editorials to approach hard topics instead of shying away from them.With one issue per semester, a website, and social media posts, Coulture is interacting with and engaging readers across all platforms.As one of the Features' Editor, I edit pieces, maintain deadlines, and help team members with overcoming writer's block. I have written more than one piece for the magazine myself, and I have honed my writing as I pursue further publishing opportunities.

Editorial Intern.Cent Magazine Jan 2019 - Mar 2019In this position, I made weekly pitches and wrote engaging articles for the .Cent website to contribute to its celebration of creativity. I attended my first press event for Daria Martin's 'Tonight the World' in the Barbican, interacting with other journalists and experiencing the story of how Martin's grandmother escaped the Holocaust through the exhibit's film and video game format. I attended London Fashion Week, obtaining a once in a lifetime experience of how the international fashion world operates. I then redistributed London Fashion Week information within the office to organize the shows and designers for the website in the most efficient way. -
