As a professional in higher education, I've focused on providing tailored and targeted support for student learning and faculty development. Since 2014, my work at the Naval Postgraduate School has allowed me to fulfill this role working closely with students from U.S. military and government, as well as personnel from U.S. partners around the globe. In addition to this diverse student body, I’ve also had opportunities to work with researchers and professionals from specialized military and government research institutions.The resulting international and multidisciplinary perspective has enhanced my ability to create impactful learning experiences that foster critical skills in writing, research, and technology application. My efforts extend beyond individual support, including course design and delivery, workshops, and the creation of multimedia learning materials and digital resources to enhance educational outcomes. I actively contribute to collaborative university teaching and learning initiatives, significantly through my involvement with the Writing Center Consortium for Professional Military Education and the Naval Postgraduate School's Generative AI Task Force. My task force role has driven me to explore the potential and risk associated with integration of AI technologies in both educational and military settings and has allowed me to contribute to development of policies and practices that will shape future paradigms of learning.
