I am currently working with Hertfordshire County council as a senior community care officer. Within this role I am able to go out into the community and build relationships with vulnerable members of the public to discuss and identify their care and support needs. I draw on relevant legislation and work with other professionals to ensure the individuals needs are the centre of any work I do. I graduated in July 2022 with a first class degree in Health and social care. My education led me to be enthusiastic to thrive in a career in health improvement and to be able to create a difference for members of the public. I previously worked with test and trace, working with the community and meeting the needs of citizens presenting different requirements whilst adhering to updated coronavirus policies and guidelines ensuring the safety of the public. Whilst studying I also worked as a waitress and in retail which allowed me to work with many different people and play to my strengths.
