About Chloe Symes

I am an experienced management consultant with strong multinational professional services background, specialising in health, human services and government clients. My career has spanned human resource management, as well as transformational and cultural change, and learning design and delivery. Commercially savvy, with a high degree of acumen and strategic thinking, I also bring a practical, fit-for-purpose, 'can do' approach to anything I do. I am deeply passionate about mental wellbeing in the workplace, as well as maintaining this through complex transformation programs. I regularly incorporate mindful and positive psychology based approaches to any client or challenge. The clients and teams I work with value my ability to influence, collaborate and build deep, trusted relationships through complex organisational structures, change programs and service transformations. I am also regularly credited for my presentation and facilitation skills.Change can be difficult for all involved, so I take the time to bring empathy to the challenges my clients are facing, whilst balancing individual experience and human need with their organisational objectives. My personal interests include meditation, yoga and running. I am a passionate cook, love to read and listen to music. Having lived experience with domestic violence, and previously having worked with clients in the sector, I am driven to combine these insights to enable systematic change, allowing us to create a society free from family and domestic violence.

Currently leading the change stream for a mutli-year transformation program for a local government client. This program will see numerous legacy systems and websites replaced with a integrated, cloud-based system and uniform website platform. I developed a change framework that has been used throughout the program and now work with staff to co-develop and implement the change approach for the multiple projects rolling out under the program. The change framework I developed for this large scale organisational change incorporates collaborative visual spaces, recruiting and training an engaged change network, and providing my client with a dynamic view of overall impact and sentiment across the multi-year program. My approach also ensures the capability that is being built in the local government organisation to allow them to be able to deliver on ongoing improvements after the program has ended. This transformation program involves multi-vendor delivery, therefore I also focus on building a cohesive culture across the program team to deliver a positive and consistent change experience for staff that considers other change programs and organisational changes occurring currently.
