Amma Birth Companions supports those who would otherwise be alone during pregnancy, birth and the early days of parenting a newborn. This incredible charity is based in Glasgow and has supported hundreds of people to get the support they need.

Supported the growing JFD business in achieving its strategic objectives during a period of intense growth and change. My role involved supporting the JFD leadership team in developing and implementing the company's strategy. Worked with internal and external customers on all major strategic initiatives and new opportunities from the outset right through to delivery, including supporting business development activity, major customer projects and new business acquisitions.

JFD is part of the James Fisher & Sons Plc group of companies and is focused on delivering world-class subsea engineering products, projects and services to commercial and military customers worldwide. JFD was created as a result of the integration of James Fisher Defence, JFD Sweden, Divex and the National Hyperbaric Centre. The business grew from 100 people to 650 during my tenure, and we won contracts for projects and services for energy and defence customers in the hundreds of millions in value, with complex requirements for asset build and ongoing service support. Supported tendering, procurement, project management and special projects including international company acquisitions and joint ventures.
