I started my academic journey at the Royal Veterinary College, studying Biological Sciences and focusing on wildlife ecology. After graduating, I qualified as a secondary school science teacher, specialising in biology. After teaching for almost three years, I returned to university to further immerse myself in my areas of interest. I completed the MRes in Biodiversity, Evolution, and Conservation at University College London, where I completed two research projects. In my first project, I investigated the body size of the extinct fish Hoplopteryx in response to past climate change at the Natural History Museum. In my second project, I used acoustic telemetry data to explore the spatial ecology of Galapagos sharks around Ascension Island at the Zoological Society of London. I am currently working at the Natural History Museum as a Research Assistant, contributing to a project investigating convergent evolution in vertebrates. In my spare time, I work with the Manta Trust as an Education Volunteer.I am eager to continue growing as a scientist. Let's connect on LinkedIn!
