The Tufts Intersections project brings students, faculty, staff, and administrators together to break down walls and silos, creating a safe space for facilitated constructive conversations addressing critical issues related to multiple facets of our community. Tufts students, faculty and staff applied and interviewed in the spring of 2014 to facilitate four small group dialogues in October and November with Tufts students in order to reduce barriers to creating a positive climate for Tufts undergraduate students. Selected facilitators underwent an intensive group training through the Public Conversations Project. There they learned effective facilitation skills and crafted the topics and questions for Tufts Intersections.Today, Public Conversations and its diverse staff have worked regionally, nationally, and globally in 38 U.S. states and 15 countries. While interning with NY City Council Member Benjamin Kallos, Chloe authored the New York City Council Resolution 345-2014, calling the United States federal government to create a Women's History Museum in the District of Columbia. The resolution passed with bipartisan support in September 2014.
