• Working as a graphic designer for multiple companies under one roof. Taking on digital and print design tasks as an in-house designer, but also for other business clients. • Manage and deal with clients, by understanding their brief and needs to create artwork for their company and target audience. • Management of e-commerce website including adding new lines and updating graphics.Designing multiple websites including the redesign of the company website to increase engagement, and the number of sign-ups with some simpler call to action points, clearer updated information and exciting visuals. • Responsible for the planning and design of a bi-monthly catalogue of lifestyle and home products. This includes photography of new lines, layout design to maximise sales, writing product descriptions and copy. Keeping the branding style at heart while designing consistent and engaging spreads to sell to customers, all to a tight deadline. The current catalogue has brought in more sales than any other catalogue produced in the last two years. • Working within a small team to come up with ideas, produce creative and new content across multiple brands and platforms. Helping to build up following, sales and engagement.• Using email marketing software to design and write email campaigns for various audiences to inform of new products, offers, updates and events.

Gained from a previous role in designing murals for Chester's International Centre. The brief was to enhance the atmosphere of the interior building for international students to feel more welcomed and encourage the rooms to be used as a place to socialise and work. With Chester's students from many different countries around the world, it was challenging to use one mural to express so many cultures and languages. As a graduate at the time, I could relate to the experience of starting fresh in a new city.The final mural design - flags from student's home countries mixed into hot air balloon floating through the room. Working with the client to add a tagline to capture the message of the mural. Aiming to inspire students looking forward to a bright future.

An exciting project to design and produce murals to bring colour and inspiration to the students and staff of Chester's Business School. Working with the clients to decide on themes, message and locations for three murals. Looking at how to make the most impact for the audience while respecting the heritage of the buildings. We decided to use quotes and illustrations for the themes; sustainability, education, business and community. I researched into famous writers, business people and public figures who have been a positive influence to people, leaving behind powerful quotes. I explored different styles, colours imagery and typography, while figuring out the best way to produce a vector into a large scale painting. This was such an enjoyable project to work on, which led to another mural project for a different client.

Placement working with the in house graphic designer on a new website and brand logo, social media, leaflets, advertising and email marketing. Developing communication skills and how to listen and take on to constructive feedback. Learning more techniques on Adobe AfterEffects and Photoshop.
