I am currently an undergraduate student working towards obtaining my BSc in Psychology at The University of Manchester, and looking for work experience in the mental health and counselling sector which can help me gain experience for my anticipated future as a counselling psychologist. Previously, I gained three A levels studying at Huddersfield new college which consisted of two A grades and one B grade in academic studies such as criminology, psychology and photography. Also, in the summer of 2018 I took part in the National Citizen Service, where I took part in volunteer work for a forest school which helped children struggling to learn in conventional ways. I gained a certificate from this for my “support, time and commitment” to the volunteer work. I have done part time work from the age of 16 which has helped me to develop my ability to stay organised and motivated whilst also enabling me to expand my leadership skills , which I feel will help me in my future career as a working councillor. Other key skills include communication, teamwork and creativity, although I am always looking to develop these skills I will also take any opportunity to learn new skills.
Listed skills include Working With Children, Interpersonal Communication, Behavior Management, Leadership, and 2 others.
