Bullion Management Group Inc. (BMG) is an international gold, silver and platinum bullion dealer and precious metals mutual funds dealer. My duties included but were not limited to copy writing, website copy SEO, graphic design, media relations and marketing strategy implementation. I also managed, designed and implemented the Infusionsoft online marketing software which runs automated online marketing campaigns and includes landing page design, AB testing, white paper design and inbound contact management. I produced and edited all in-house videos for YouTube, using Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro and hosted BMG’s precious metals experts’ show, Inside the Vault.

Coyle Publishing Inc., are the publishers of Fifty-Five Plus Magazine, Ottawa Family Living Magazine, Ottawa Wedding Magazine, Ottawa Profiles of Success Magazine and the Ultimate Guide to Retirement and produce the Fifty-Five Plus Lifestyle Show. My duties include all aspects of website and social media management from editing, copywriting, photo selection and editing to administrating the day to day functions of all the company’s websites, as well as SEO research and implementation. I manage the Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest communications, as well as write, design and distribute regular e-newsletters. I contribute to the magazines in print and online. Previously, I also managed all accounts receivables and the administration of the magazines, which have several contracted editorial and graphic design staff, an in-house sales team and management team. I was the go-to for tech support, customer service, readership and subscription sales, as well as a myriad of other duties.

I signed Strategic Creative and Sharp Magazine to long term contracts by negotiating rate reviews. I collected over $10,000 in bad debt and aided in the successful launch of a full service rental studio.

I aided in redirecting client budgets to core products while the company closed specialty magazine publications. I closed a $50k contract with the Toronto Police Services for Toronto Community News. I redirected existing clients to ROP, securing approximately 100k in advertising revenue. The position involved contacting existing clients, while also generating new leads for advertising.

I launched Dose Magazine distribution in Ottawa. I managed Audience Development for five major city markets (Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary). I managed Single Copy Sales for National Post. I achieved the highest ranking newspaper pickup of all 5 market, and was promoted within one year. I re-launched the Newspaper in Education program nationally to meet ABC audit criteria.

Dose magazine was a division of CanWest media, launched in 2005 and closed in 2006. I was transferred to National Post once Dose ceased publishing.

I managed expansion from 2 weekly publications to 7, launched distribution networks in 4 markets and managed the sales, editorial, production and administrative departments. We achieved record revenues in existing and expanded markets and I aided in positioning the company for sale to Metroland Media Inc. Previous to the Associate Publisher and Office Manager roles, I worked at Runge Newspapers in administration for several years while attending University, College and in high school.
