Final year Veterinary Surgery student at the Royal Veterinary College. I aim to start in small animal general practice with interests into exotic medicine, and also enjoy aspects of farm animal practice. I will be tracking in cardiology, ECC, dermatology, shelter medicine and neurology over the next year and should graduate in summer of 2025. Medical Sciences graduate from the University of Exeter. I spent my professional training year at the RILD, Royal Devon and Exeter hospital investigating mTOR function in astrocytes and its relationship to purinergic signalling. A keen undergraduate scientist with a particular enthusiasm for Neuroscience. Specifically interested in research into Alzheimer's Disease, as well as Diabetes and obesity. I also have a strong interest in veterinary care and general animal wellbeing, having volunteered in various establishments dedicated to providing outstanding animal care such as farms, rescue centres and veterinary surgeries.I was part of the Student Staff Liaison Committee at University as a representative for my year, and was involved in the committee who designed the Medical School Undergraduate Student Conference. I have general research laboratory skills including aseptic tissue culture and western blotting. Also skilled in Customer Service and Retail Sales.
