• Responsible for strategic leadership and management of Assisi Aid Projects, reporting to the President of the Board. Assisi’s vision is for a world in which all people have equal opportunity to determine and achieve their economic and social potential, and works to achieve this vision by supporting women and children to strengthen their skills, knowledge and confidence; and through addressing systemic barriers to gender equality.• Developing, implementing and monitoring Assisi’s strategic plan, country strategies and annual operational plans.• Providing leadership to strengthen Assisi’s partnership approach with overseas partners, including capacity building, technical advice and support to development of partner boards.• Ensuring Assisi meets the high standards of compliance required by Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Council for International Development to ensure high quality child safe projects. Operational leadership to ensure Assisi and its partner organisations deliver quality and impactful programs. • Ownership of fundraising and communications strategy, management of relationships with existing donors and raising the profile of Assisi.
